Today is the day I ruin that worthless hero!

You are the feared and mighty demon king (in the making)! While you aren't recognized as royalty yet and your army is in the single digits, you will begin making brilliant strategic decisions to get what you desire.

Your first act of business, possess this hero of legend everyone is blabbering on about and ruin his good name! Why not kill him? Because that's lame. If you're gonna become a demon king you're gonna be strategic and creative, not some lame tyrant who takes the easy way out. It's your first time casting a long range hypnosis spell like this, surely all will go exactly as planned! Winners like you don't need practice, they need results!

Controls

Demon King and Hero

  • A or <-  - Move left
  • D or -> - Move right
  • Space - Jump
  • Shift - Demonic Dash: Glide through the air for a short period of time

Demon King only

  • Left click - Underworld Passage: Teleport to where your cursor is

Game notes/rules

  • Victory is obtained when all level objectives are complete and both the Demon King and the Hero reach the exit.
  • The Hero does what the Demon King does, not vice versa.
  • The demonic dash, while useful, has a drawback in that it can not be stopped once begun. Use with caution.

Fun Game, Reversed Controls(for the green dude) and the teleport mechanic are pretty creative ideas and are great for puzzle design, But a tip for your next game Jam don't make the controls too tricky the green character's controls are reversed and while this is a great mechanic for games it's not idle for game jams as you have to actually master the controls which makes certain levels like the third level very tricky

Quite a neat little game. The platforming physics are consistent and nice. I like the idea, and the dialogue is spot-on. Overall, great game!
