Hunt for Halford (Demo)

A game by SerenityDev. Made in about a week for Captain Coder's "Learn You a Game Jam: Pixel Edition".

Did you hear? There's a monster!

You are the monster. A seemingly normal doctor named Dr. Heather Halford hides a dark secret under her lab coat, a large monstrous growth!

Use this "monster" to complete surgeries and save patients lives, however be warned, rumors are spreading and the whole town is out to find and eliminate this monster that is seemingly plaguing their streets.

Controls

Basic

• Arrow Keys/Left Click (D-Pad) - Movement
• Z/Enter/Space/Right Click (A button) - Confirm/Action
• X/ESC/Right Click  (B Button) - Cancel/Menu
• Shift (X Button) - Sprint

Surgery specific

• Q - Reset room

Surgery Rules

• You can't step on any space you've already stepped on before
• Other objects can go on spaces you've already gone on before
• You can walk on "designated spaces" meant for other objects.
• If stuck, press Q to reset the room.

• RPG Maker MV
• Paint.net
• Aseprite

Credits

A majority of the visuals and all of the sound assets are default RPG Maker assets available within the engine.
